Years ago, I was a Gold Canyon Independent Consultant, and I absolutely loved their candles. To me, they set the standard for incredible fragrance and quality, and I was so disappointed when Gold Canyon closed its doors in 2020.

That's one of the reasons I was so excited to discover Canyon Scents.

Canyon Scents founder Karen Badousek also began her candle journey with Gold Canyon, selling their candles for more than 20 years. After Gold Canyon closed, she searched for a candle that could match the quality she remembered but couldn't find what she was looking for.

She eventually reached out to Curt and Karen Waisath, the original founders of Gold Canyon. With their blessing and guidance, Karen and her husband Rick launched Canyon Scents in 2021, carrying their love of quality candles into a new chapter.

Today, Canyon Scents proudly creates candles made with 100% USA-made materials, including the wax, wicks, fragrance oils, glass jars and labels.

For me, becoming a Canyon Scents Independent Sales Consultant feels a little like coming home. I get to share beautiful, highly fragranced candles again — something I truly enjoyed doing during my Gold Canyon days.
